Medifast diet critisism
June 26th, 2008 -- Posted in Medifast diet | 1 Comment »I have read more than 65 books about Medifast, so I feel qualified to write a criticism of this diet. My goal is to give you a clear idea of what you can expect if you choose this plan. Medifast is technically a meals replacement program . This means that you are going to replace most of what you used to eat with the plan for prepackaged foods. Most people are on the five plus one option which means that you eat six times a day. Of these six meals, five of them will be the diet. You prepare a large meal yourself. This is called the ”green and lean meals”, but it consists of lean proteins and fruits and vegetables of your choice.
The food is designed to be low in calories and rich in protein. Fortunately, however, there are many types of dessert and snack foods ensure that you do not always understand. The plan works by putting your body in ketosis which means that your system tricks by burning its own fat. You do not physically feel something, but there are bands that you can buy to make sure you’re in this state. Cétose is supposed to reduce cravings and after my experience, this is the case most of the time, but not always. I find it very reasonable price ($ 8 - $ 10 per day). There are always good and most of your food is included. I personally find that the program has actually saved money because I did jump into more deals and junk. Undoubtedly, the best thing about this scheme is it effective. The average is supposed to 2-3 pounds per week, but I found this to be higher. I do try to incorporate regular exercise into my routine. In my experience, this plan would reward your efforts with fairly rapid and steady weight loss.
